Sanrio’s 50th Anniversary!

I attended Sanrio’s 50th anniversary at Santa Monica’s Barkar Hangar. Everything was Sanrio themed. Cuteness overload!
There were massive crowds and more adults than kids which was a surprise.
It was sectioned off into a couple different parts: ferris wheel and golf course, art gallery, arts and crafts corner, pop-up shop, photo-op and the food booths.

I look like someone out of FRUiTs Magazine.

The Sanrio characters. I didn’t actually get to take pictures with any of them, because the line was too long.

Beard Papa’s had Hello Kitty themed creampuffs. Yogurtland had different flavors for each of the Sanrio characters as well.

Enjoying my Hello-Kitty flavored cream puff from Beard Papa’s. Che Guevara FOOD TRUCK!

Pimped out Hello Kitty smart car.

SephoraXHelloKitty with Swarovski crystals.

Too big to fit!
They had an amazing art gallery featuring all the characters from Sanrio. Everything was super cute!

After that, we pretty much went to the Mitsuwa Marketplace for green tea ice cream which was perfectly “normal” in my get-up.
We ran around the market taking pictures of all things Japanese and people stared at us strangely.
